The latest El Ojo de Iberoamérica event for TV and advertising professionals, held last week in Buenos Aires, focused on the new possibilities delivered by technology.

The three-day event was also broadcast live via mobile screens and focused on social activity on Twitter and Facebook. Almost 3,000 visitors attended the conferences, workshops and awards galas intended to build a space to share work, experiences and find inspiration for the coming year.

El Ojo saw the broadcasting of 500 audiovisual pieces and over 30 hours of material exclusively made in Latin America and Spain, while almost 5,000 pieces were registered for the El Ojo awards. Fifteen companies were awarded with the highest price, the Gran Ojo, in the categories of media, PR, design and content, among others. Brazilian companies got eight awards, three were for Argentina, two for Colombia and one each for Peru and Spain.

Participants in workshops and conferences included Sebastián Ghioni and Angela Bassichetti from Turner Broadcasting Systems; Juan Carlos Ortiz, president of DDB Americas; and Gustavo Buchbinder, director at IAB and Interact.
