BT TV becomes first UK service to offer 4K Netflix content _21.12.2015

In a statement of confidence in the supplier as much as the technology’s future, BT TV is to be the first UK service provider to offer Ultra HD Netflix content.

NetflixOrangeCustomers of the IPTV service BT TV customers will be able to view shows via BT’s new Ultra HD YouView+ set-top box as and adding Netflix’s Ultra HD plan will cost and extra £8.99 a month. Ultra HD content currently includes House of Cards, Narcos, Marvel’s Jessica Jones, and Better Call Saul on Netflix as well as Marvel’s Daredevil, the historical drama series Marco Polo, films such as the Ridiculous 6 and documentaries like Keith Richards: Under the Influence, and What Happened, Miss Simone?

To access the service, BT TV customers will need to have a compatible Ultra HD TV/4KTV and sign up to BT TV’s Total Entertainment package for £15, and new customers will then receive the YouView+ Ultra HD set-top box.
