Sling adds Cine Sony to Latino line-up_20.12.2015

Spanish-language Hollywood films will air on one more channel on Sling Latino, as the over-the-top (OTT) platform has added Cine Sony to its bouquet.
sling latinoThis addition to the Sling line-up is claimed to make it the only OTT provider to offer Cine Sony Television across the US. It also brings more Spanish-language comedy, action-adventure and horror films to Sling subscribers.
The network delivers linear programming over-the-top, although Sling has also announced it will add video-on-demand (VOD) titles soon.
“While other traditional pay-TV providers have abandoned their Latino-focused OTT services, Sling Latino will continue to expand our Spanish-language programming and develop a personalised TV viewing experience for our customers,” said Roger Lynch, CEO of Sling TV. “The addition of Cine Sony Television is a testament to our commitment of giving customers choice in their entertainment options.”
The Cine Sony catalogue, which is delivered through Sling Latino's Paquete Total offering, includes titles like The Grudge, Here Comes the Boom and Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle. The signal is also available as add-ons for English-language Sling included in the Best of Spanish TV and Películas & Novelas packs.
