9 Story Media Group goes Hispanic with MundoFox

Bringing a slate of successful children's series to the Hispanic audience, Canada's 9 Story Media Group has announced it has licensed nearly 50 hours of content to the US Spanish-language channel MundoFox.

9storyUnder the deal, the network has acquired 52 episodes of Wibby Pig, 26 of Artzooka! and 42 of Finding Stuff Out. MundoFox - a joint venture between Fox International Channels (FIC) and RCN - reaches over 1.6 billion subscribers worldwide, offiering original series, novelas, dramas, game shows, reality series, news and lifestyle programming.

Based on the Mick Inkpen franchise - which has sold over two million books - Wibbly Pig features stories about Wibbly, a funny, inquisitive and engaging character who turns the simplest daily tasks and activities into a comedy routine.

Blending live action and animation, Artzooka! provides kids with new techniques to create masterpieces out of everyday objects, teaching them that art is everywhere and encouraging kids to find their creative side.

Finding Stuff Out is a lively science-oriented series which, instead of imposing adult notions on kids about what they should know, tries to give them answers to the questions that matter to them.
