Telson appoints new CEO, commercial director

Spanish post-production house Telson has announced the appointment of a new CEO and commercial director to strengthen its directorial department and aid the growth of the company.

telsonmarianMarian García Martínez will be the new head of Telson after working for 15 years as post-production director at Lee Films and a long career in the audiovisual production industry. She has previously worked as manager and executive producer for companies including Recuero Producciones and Álamo Film, achieving success with international documentary production.

"It's a great challenge for me to start working in Telson, Spain's leader for the post-production industry," said Marian García. "I want to continue developing Telson's leadership in the current communication context and continue offering our clients different and excellent products."

Sandra Barboni is the new commercial director, formerly holding this position at Serena Digital Boolab. Barboni has previously worked for consultancy firm Llorente y Cuenca and for the publicity departments at Prisa and Unidad Editorial.

Telson, a subsidiary of Tres60 Group, has been distributing, among other channels, content from Turner in the Iberian Peninsula since 1999, and currently distributes TCM, TNT and Cartoon Network on Spanish and Portuguese pay-TV.
